Double the fun with 2 gigs in 1 night! THE WHITE CANARIES are bringing the sound of The Black Crowes to The Node! Expect gritty guitar riffs, soulful blues, and plenty of rock ’n’ roll energy. TED DUCHAMP is a Stockholm-based quartet with a sound of their own! Mix indie rock with a little jazz, a pinch of britpop, and a splash of post-punk. Add Pacific palm trees, sunsets, and gritty neon-lit alleyways, and you’ve got a sound praised by American Bond Magazine and UK artist Oscar Lang. This will be sweaty, spontaneous, and unique! ANNEXVÄGEN is a Stockholm-based rock band blending Swedish lyrics, big choruses, and guitar-driven energy with melancholy and nostalgia. Inspired by 90s and 00s rock, the music explores love, longing, lost youth, and the hope of something greater. This evening will color the grey November evening. Don't miss out!

Come explore our studio floor, meet Mello producer Joy Deb and other creatives, listen to music, ask questions, talk production and get a better feel for all the creative things you can do here at The node. Do you often feel creative mid day but tend to forget lunch? Don't worry. If you are new to The Node and book your first studio session Monday-Wednesday 10-2 (4 hours) we will personally bring you one of our delicious, grilled sandwiches. And a soda too. It's on us! And it's just to express how happy we are to have you as a new member. Creativity is easier when your stomach is full, right? Bon appetit!

On Screen @ The Node presents SKÅNISH by Akram Mahmod. SKÅNISH is a double installation featuring footage from online archives and the artist’s family collection of DV tapes. The work consists primarily of material from private family archives, bringing films from different periods into dialogue with one another. Akram Mahmod (b. 1994) is an artist based in Malmö and Stockholm. Through his material, Mahmod explores questions of identity, belonging and representation, rooted in his experience of growing up in Skåne as a first-generation Swede. The exhibition runs until Nov 22.

Get your lederhosen ready. From October 1–3, Oktoberfest is coming to The Node. Beer, sausages, live music, sing-alongs and everything else that belongs to the tradition. Thursday night we have games & fun. It will be loud! Fortunately The Node has no neighbours that compalin. Friday will be live music with the amazing band Marie Voltaire (despite the name they will be PERFECT for the occassion) Saturday we start already in the afteroon. Ideal if you've been out shopping and need some German relaxation with beers and friends! Prost!

Every Thursday, our fantastic house band Trio Van Funk takes over the bar stage. Come by, listen – and love them as much as we do!

Concerts all week. Come jazz with us! We’re filling The Node with jazz this October: a jazz lunch with our house band Trio Van Funk on Saturday October 10, Fantastic pianist German Nager on October 12 Kulturskolan’s jazz ensemble on October 13 and a New Jazz evening on the 15th with several bands. Come jazz with us under the fountain!

Next up in On Screen – art on the move is photographer Kicki Lundgren. Kicki’s works Floating and Winter Dip, exploring people and their relationship with water, open on September 22 at 6 PM and will be shown on our large LED screen until October 20. Starting this autumn, On Screen is a visual gallery space where contemporary artists showcase their work on The Node’s 16-square-metre LED screen, visible to tens of thousands of people passing through Sergelgången. The idea behind On Screen is to make visual art accessible to more people and spark curiosity about contemporary video art and photographic slideshows.
